Whatever you choose to practice in should be comfortable (not too tight, not too loose). Your clothing should have some ‘give’ in the fabric to allow ease of movement. T-shirts, tank tops, shorts, or tights are recommended. It is ideal that what you wear, allows the teacher to view the alignment of your joints. As a result, tights are recommended over baggy track pants. Dressing in layers is recommended in order to more easily regulate your body temperature throughout the class.
Yoga is practiced barefoot so no special footwear is needed.
