MEDITATION (G, P, AL)
Meditation teaches us how to let go of stress, negativity, and anger, allowing us to view life in a calmer, more centred manner. It has been proven to be one of the most essential practices for a happy and healthy life. Daily meditation has been proven to increase both quality of life and life-span itself. Be introduced to a variety of highly effective techniques and find one, or many, that work for you.  Group Meditation classes are combined with a Yoga Philosophy component.

YOGA BREATHWORK (P, AL)
The breath is an important link between our body, our mind, and our spirit: moving from the purely physical realm, to the mental, to the spiritual. It is one of the few autonomic functions of the body that we may also consciously control, and learning to control the breath teaches us to control the mind and as a result, the body. Yoga Breathwork (also known as Pranayama) improves both cardiovascular fitness as well as concentration. It is a highly recommended addition to both your physical yoga practice and your weight training. It very effectively reduces the effects of stress on both the body and mind and is quite beneficial to those with high blood pressure and mild asthma. Please note that Pranayama is not recommended for those with acute asthma.

HATHA YOGA (G, P, AL)
Hatha Yoga is over 5000 years old. It is an ancient eastern discipline that develops strength, endurance, flexibility and balance. It strengthens the nervous system, and promotes realignment of the body. It reduces stress within both the body and the mind.  Hatha Yoga is done with a meditative pacing.

VINYASA-HATHA YOGA (G, P, AL)
Vinyasa-Hatha Yoga takes Hatha poses and links them in a gently flowing sequence insterspersed with static poses. Poses are linked to breath movement, which helps build strength, endurance, flexibility and balance, whilst improving cardiovascular ability.  More vigourous than Hatha Yoga, but less vigorous than Power Yoga. No previous experience required.

POWER YOGA (G, P, I, A)
Power Yoga takes Hatha poses and links them in a flowing sequence. It builds considerable strength and flexibility whilst greatly improving cardiovascular ability.  Previous yoga experience required.

SPECIALTY YOGA PROGRAMS
(P, AL)

These Specialty  Programs are designed to be both preventative and rehabilitative. They are run as Private Yoga Training in order to address the specific physical needs of each student’s body.

Yoga recognizes that true and complete happiness comes from within. It cannot be given by one to another; it is the direct result of knowing your True Self. Thus the true path of Yoga begins with the question of “Who am I?”. As we begin to explore this, our view of all aspects of life begins to change, allowing us to see the direct connectedness of all that surrounds us. Learn more about this philosophical path and be introduced to a more joyful way of experiencing life itself.  Group Philosophy classes are combined with a Meditation component.

Art is an expression not only of who we are, but of what we value. It is a visual, auditory, or otherwise sensual expression of our True Self. And it is necessary to our personal happiness.
